You will be asked to complete some offers, such as subscribe to some service - let's say a movie rental or similar things, and in exchange you will be offered some free stuff. Is it free? You decide to try it or not. Sometimes, the free product that you're interested in may have a cost associated with it. Sometimes, this cost is related to a shipping fee to get your free stuff to you. Other times, you may have to complete sponsor offers in order to receive your free item. The best thing to do is to pull out your calculator and do some number crunching. If your costs are less than the costs needed to obtain the freebie by purchasing it outright, then you just scored yourself a nice one! An example would be paying $5.95 for 500 free business cards.


Signing Up For Free Stuff
Just about any freebie you find online will ask for your email address, zip code, and/or home mailing address. This is OK, as it is required to get your free stuff to you in a timely fashion. Here are some tips when using personal information:

Check your junk folder in your email for important emails after signing up for freebies.
I would suggest that if a free offer site requires your credit card information, you just stay away from it, as even a card with a low limit may be used by somebody you don't even know.

Signing Up For Free Trials
There are absolutely tons of free trials out there. If you're genuinely interested in trying out the product, go ahead and sign up. If you like the product or service after your free trial period is over, you've just become a loyal customer. If you aren't interested in the product or service once your trial period is over, you must cancel your membership or return the product prior to your trial ending. Otherwise, your card will be charged. Be sure to mark your calendar three or so days before the trial period ends to make sure you cancel if you're not happy.
